Someone asks a question. The next person to come along answers that question and then posts a new question for the next person to come along.

Try to avoid simple questions like, left or right, up or down, favorite color, etc. Repeat questions are ok.

This has been a very succesful thread at Skinartistry. I expect it to get a little confusing here at Wincustomize because of the greater volume of members but lets give it a go.

ONLY ANSWER THE LAST QUESTION. DO NOT ANSWER A QUESTION ASKED PREVIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I myself am guilty of it. I believe that thought is the most powerful tool we have. Collective positive thought will result in a happy community. Collective negative thought will bring bad clouds over our heads.
So...I ask you to simply say something positive. It doesn't have to be about Wincustomize or skinning in general, as long as it is positive.
If I am right, then we will all soon feel a change in the weather.

-Love yourself.

-Ask and ye shall receive.

-Hakuna Matata (no worries, from "The Lion King")

-Don't worry, be happy! (Bobby McFerrin)

-Enjoy the moment.

-For every minute you are angry, you lose 60 seconds of happiness.

-Accentuate the positive, not the negative.

-It takes both the sun and the rain to make a rainbow.

-Success is getting up one more time than you fall down.

There are NO computer graphics or digital tricks in the film you are about to see. Everything you see really happened in real time, exactly as you see it. The film required 606 takes. On the first 605 takes, something, usually very minor, didn't work. They would then have to set the whole thing up again. The crew spent weeks shooting night and day. By the time it was over, they were ready to change professions.

This is amazing. Check it out: http://www.imediaconnection.com/content/cs/honda/051303/honda_ad.swf The film cost 6 million dollars and took three months to complete, including a full engineering of the sequence. In addition, it's two minutes long so every time Honda airs the film on British television, they're shelling out enough dough to keep any one of us in clover for a lifetime. However, it is fast becoming the most downloaded advertisement in Internet history.
Honda executives figure the ad will soon pay for itself simply in "free" viewings. (Honda isn't paying a dime to have you watch this commercial!) When the ad was pitched to senior executives, they signed off on it immediately without any hesitation --- including the costs.

There are six and only six hand-made Accords in the world. To the horror of Honda engineers, the filmmakers disassembled two of them to make the film. Everything you see in the film (aside from the walls, floor, ramp, and complete Honda Accord) is parts from those two cars.

 The voiceover is Garrison Keillor.

When the ad was shown to Honda executives, they liked it and commented on how amazing computer graphics have gotten. They fell off their chairs when they found out it was for real. Oh. ... about those funky windshield wipers:

On the new Accords, the windshield wipers have water sensors and are designed to start functioning automatically as soon as they become wet It looks a bit odd in the commercial.

As amazing as this is, ! the commercial is actually based on an earlier film from the 1970s called "How Things Move" by two Swiss self-destructing artifacts artists.

P.S. Some sharp-eyed folks claim that tires rolling UPHILL necessarily require computer-generated effects. Not so. The sequence where the tires roll up a slope looks particularly impressive but is very simple. There is a weight [in each] tire and when the tire is

knocked, the weight is displaced and in an attempt to rebalance itself, the tire rolls up the slope.

In another thread I posted about buying one for a community member.
For a whole week I thought...WOW...you can't even give these things away.
Yesterday I was finally contacted by someone asking about the free subscrition. After contacting Stardock sales on how to go about it so that there was no confusion. I found that they had a system set up for just this purpose. It is very simple and takes only a few minutes.

There seemed to be alot people lining up to sponsor the recent and ongoing Skinning contests. So many that people were denied because there were too many donations.
So I got to thinking that there are hopefully others willing to buy a subscription for another community member that can't afford to. There are people in countries that simply can't purchase subscriptions because of diplomatic BS.

I felt pretty good helping someone else out. Even if you already subscribe you can still help the site by purchasing a subscription for someone else.

If this thread reaches 100 posts I will buy a subscription for the 100th poster (poster?). If you just spam the board trying to hit the mark I will just give it away to someone else.

PS..I still support limiting non-subscribers completely. 100%. All the way.
